It’s been a long and winding road in the 16 years between releases from the Punk brothers in arms, Mike and Brad Casarin, and their life long project, Somehow Hollow.
Through ups, downs, marriages, mortgages, children and the death of founding guitar player Kent Abbott, the brothers knew that no matter the time that had passed, the story had not yet been finished and an ending not yet created for the seminal Southern Ontario group.
Late 2018 the brothers sat down with Engineer and guitar player Dave Featherstone to hash out what was to become the songs that lay before you. Months were spent rekindling the love of songwriting and performing while producing the bands best and fully realized material to date.
Dave in short time became a full fledged member of the group and Mike Harshaw (ex drummer of Metal legends Annihilator) was brought in to realize the full vision of the songs with no compromise.
The boys, after a year of writing, finally entered the legendary Beach Road Studios with Juno Award winning Engineer Siegfried Meier to lay down the tracks and complete the latest chapter of the SH story.
What lies ahead of the listener is a love letter to the genre. A set of songs that the Casarin brothers had always strived to create. A tribute to a fallen friend. A lifelong dedication to music and the passion that has always been present

Why’d you have to come here? To preach what you bestowed? A million other places and you travel this road?
I’m just a stranger to you with nothing left to say.
I won’t waste away looking back on those days, you’re never going to win, so get out of my lane.
Keep trying to string me along, keep trying to tell me I’m wrong. Keep moving keep on moving along and get out of my way.
It’s like I don’t belong here. As if my dues are owed. So why do you pretend to care when clearly you don’t.
I’m just a stranger to you
I’m nothing but a failure to you
Who Holds no credibility
With nothing left to say
I won’t waste away looking back on those days, you’re never going to win, so get out of my lane.
Keep trying to string me along, keep trying to tell me I’m wrong. Keep moving keep on moving along and get out of my way.
You’ll never ever win, It’s never going to change, you will never win, it’s never going to change. You will never win and I will never change, you will never win, every single day.
I won’t waste away looking back on those days, you’re never going to win, so get out of my lane.
Keep trying to string me along, keep trying to tell me I’m wrong. Keep moving keep on moving along and get out of my way and get out of my way.
You will never win, I will never change, you will never win, I will never change. I will never win, you will never change. I will never win, you will never change.
